Poem: The Sky Cried with Me!

The Sky Cried with Me!

On the day you died
The sky cried with me.
I stood against an old oak tree.
I watched as they lowered
Your casket into the ground.

The sky turned gray.
It felt my pain.
I walked over and placed
A red rose where you were to lay.
Flashes of lightening crossed the sky.
When I cried the rain fell from the sky.

The sky cried with me.
As I watched them lay you to rest.
Without you my life was a mess.
For you, I will always do my best.
I will not rest until my dreams
Come true.

Every time it rains
I will always think of you.
