You Are Not Going to Heal If You Do Not Do the Work

 

 

It seems like these days everyone wants to heal themselves spiritually. More and more people are getting into the spiritual healing game every day. Hundreds of new spiritual healing styles pop up almost daily. There is nothing wrong with this. Everyone is different and different things work for different people. I, for one, try to learn as much as possible and make it my own. I feel that is the best way to learn almost anything.

 

What is wrong with everyone jumping into the spiritual healing game is most people want a quick fix. They do not want to put the time and effort into their spiritual healing work. They want to see results on the first day. This rarely happens. You are not going to heal if you do not do the work.

 

Spiritual healing is a lifelong process. We are always learning, growing and changing. Every time we heal an aspect of ourselves, we change. Therefore, there is no quick fix to any type of spiritual healing. If you want to heal spiritually, you are going to have to put the time and effort into working on yourself first.

 

When learning any spiritual practice, you first learn how to heal yourself. Practice on yourself for at least a month before you work on others. This is true in every spiritual practice, I have ever done. It helps you in many ways. You learn if you really want to use the practice. It helps you develop your skills in the practice and much more.

You can not heal trauma if you do not do the work. We are all dealing with some types of trauma. The first step in healing the trauma is realizing and excepting it is there. We dislike dealing with things we are uncomfortable with, so we put it on the back-burner and try to forget about it. Many of us avoid facing our traumas. If you don’t face traumatic events that happened in your childhood, teen years, and adulthood, you suffer for it. You may not realize it, but trauma resurfaces; fears, anxiety, and stress. Causing many health and social problems. You cannot heal trauma if you don’t work on it.

 

So what is the point of this article? The point is to help people realize they are not alone. We all have some type of healing to do. Healing is a lifelong process. And, to help people realize no matter where they are in their journey, any type of healing takes time, effort and practice.
