Poem: Heal Self Sabotage

In the shadows of our minds, it lies,
A whispering echo of our fears,
Self-sabotage, in disguise,
Feeding on doubts and salty tears.

It creeps upon our noble quest,
With doubts and worries in its wake,
A saboteur, an unwelcome guest,
A chain that binds, a path opaque.

Yet in the depths where darkness dwells,
A light begins to softly gleam,
A whispered hope, a tolling bell,
A dream that’s more than it may seem.

For healing comes with gentle hands,
And courage blooms in tender hearts,
As we unravel self-made bands,
And chart anew our inner charts.

We face the demons, one by one,
With courage born from deep within,
The battle fought, though not yet won,
But slowly, healing does begin.

With every step, we claim our space,
Our voices strong, our hearts aflame,
We rise above with steadfast grace,
And banish self-sabotage’s claim.

For in the journey of our soul,
We find the strength to break the chains,
To claim our worth, to make us whole,
And dance beneath the gentle rains.

So let us heal, let us reclaim,
The power that resides within,
And from the ashes, rise again,
With newfound light, we shall begin.

Thank-you for reading.

Much Love and light,

‘Brenda Marie
