In the quiet of the evening’s glow,
Where shadows dance and soft winds blow,
A heart that’s bruised begins to mend,
Through time and touch, both friends and trends.
The tears that fell like summer rain,
Wash away the deepest pain,
And in their place, a seed takes root,
In soil of sorrow, courage shoots.
Beneath the hurt, a spark will flare,
A whispered hope, a tender care,
For every crack and every scar,
Is where the light has traveled far.
In moments dark, where doubts reside,
Find solace in the rising tide,
For as the waves retreat from the shore,
They leave behind a strength restored.
Embrace the scars, they tell your tale,
Of battles fought and storms set sail,
Each mark a sign of trials faced,
Yet through the storm, your heart’s embraced.
So let the healing winds arrive,
With every breath, you start to thrive,
For in the heart’s unspoken art,
There lies the path to healing’s start.
Thank-you for reading,
Much Love and light,
Brenda Marie
