Poem: Life Isn’t Easy Without You

Life isn’t easy without you here,
The days are colder, the skies unclear.
A quiet emptiness fills the space,
Where once was laughter, light, and grace.

The world moves on, but I stand still,
Chasing echoes of a love that’s real.
The warmth you gave, the hand I’d hold,
Now distant memories, growing cold.

The morning sun feels less alive,
I struggle just to feel the drive.
Without your smile, without your touch,
The weight of life is just too much.

I long for you in every place,
In every corner, every space.
Life isn’t easy, but I’ll try—
Though every moment, I wonder why.

Yet still, in absence, love remains,
A quiet pulse amidst the pains.
For even without you by my side,
Your memory is my guide.

Thank-you for reading.

Much Love and light,

Brenda Marie
