
Guided Meditation: Connecting to the Power of Medicine
Duration: ~10-15 minutes
Voice: Calm, grounded, intentional
Tone: Respectful, reverent, empowering
Begin by finding a comfortable place to sit or lie down.
Allow your eyes to gently close.
Take a slow, deep breath in through your nose…
Hold it gently for a moment…
And exhale softly through your mouth.
Let’s do that again.
Inhale deeply…
Hold…
And release.
With each breath, feel yourself arriving more fully in this moment.
Let the outside world fade, as you turn inward.
You are safe. You are supported.
You are here to connect with healing.
1. Grounding Into the Body
Bring your attention to the base of your spine.
Imagine roots growing from your body into the earth—deep, ancient, and strong.
With each breath, feel yourself anchoring deeper into the ground.
Let the earth hold you.
Let your body soften.
Feel the support beneath you—stable, grounding, eternal.
2. Inviting the Presence of Medicine
Now, bring to mind the medicine you are working with or calling in.
This could be:

A pharmaceutical drug
-
A natural herb or plant
-
An energy medicine
-
A healing ritual
-
Or even an intention you hold in your heart
Whatever your medicine is today—bring it into your awareness.
Hold it in your mind’s eye as a sacred ally.
Let yourself feel its presence…
Not just as a substance or action…
But as a living intelligence, carrying the wisdom of healing, balance, and transformation.
3. Setting an Intention
Gently ask yourself:
“What am I asking this medicine to help me with?”
Let the answer rise naturally.
Is it relief?
Is it clarity?
Is it release?
Is it trust?
Whatever it is, hold it with love.
Let your intention infuse the medicine with sacred meaning.
You are co-creating this healing.
4. Merging With the Medicine
Now imagine the medicine entering your body—
Through your breath, your mouth, your skin, your energy field—
Whatever makes sense to you.
See it as a light or a current—
Spiraling through your bloodstream, weaving into your cells.
It moves with purpose, intelligence, and compassion.
Say silently or aloud:
🕊️ “I welcome this medicine into my body. I trust its wisdom. I allow healing to unfold.”
Let yourself feel the medicine working—not forcing, but guiding.
Not fixing, but restoring.
Not overpowering, but partnering with you.
This is a sacred collaboration between your body, your mind, your soul, and the medicine.
5. Listening for the Message
In this quiet space, gently ask the medicine:
“What do you want me to know?”
Pause.
Listen.
Sense.
Perhaps a word, an image, a feeling comes through.
Perhaps silence.
Whatever arises, trust that something meaningful is happening—seen or unseen.
6. Closing and Gratitude
Begin to draw your awareness back to your body.
Feel the breath moving in and out.
Feel your feet, your hands, your heart beating.
Bring your hands to your heart and say:
🌀 “Thank you, medicine. Thank you, body. Thank you, life.”
Let gratitude ripple through your being.
Know that healing is already in motion—
Even if it’s invisible, even if it’s just beginning.
Take one final deep breath…
Feel your energy return to the present moment.
And when you’re ready, gently open your eyes.
You are connected.
You are supported.
You are healing.
