Poem: Moving Forward

Hi guys,

I have posted in awhile because I am working on my next big thing. Hopefully, I will be done in the next week or two. I will have to see. I don’t know, how often or if I will post anything. I get caught up in what I am doing. Thanks for understanding.

Moving Forward

The road ahead is rarely straight;
it bends through shadows, light, and rain.
Yet every dawn repeats the truth:
no night can hold the sky unchanged.

Carry what has made you kind,
but leave behind what keeps you small.
Not every chapter asks for proof;
some simply ask you to stand tall.

There will be doors that never open,
dreams that quietly lose their name.
Still, empty hands can build new futures,
and hopeful hearts can rise again.

Walk with courage, not perfection.
Measure progress, not your pace.
Even mountains yield to footsteps
placed with patience, grace by grace.

So greet tomorrow with open eyes,
not because the path is clear,
but because each step you choose
teaches hope to outgrow fear.

Keep moving forward.
The horizon was never meant
to be a place you reach—
only a reminder
that there is always more sky
waiting beyond the next step.
